Our philanthropy focuses on the following key areas:

Physical Enhancements to Our City

• We are proud to have improved the pitcher’s mound at Mendakota Park
• Installed an informational sign highlighting the pollinator garden at Friendly Hills Park.
• We are currently raising money for the purchase of potentially life-saving Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for four city parks. Total project cost: $12,000.

City-Wide Events

• MHCF has proudly sponsored Summer Concerts in the Park, bringing neighbors together to enjoy music and community.
• Looking ahead, we would love to sponsor Fourth of July celebrations for our city. Estimated cost: $25,000.

Celebrating Excellence in Our City

• We provided financial support to the award winning robotics and STEM programs at Two Rivers, Visitation, and St. Thomas Academy.

Student Scholarships

• The MHCF scholarship program recognizes high school students who live in Mendota Heights and have demonstrated outstanding community service.
• Applications will be accepted between March 1 and May 1 of each year.
